Death caused by heart failure due to severe arteriosclerosis. An avid television viewer, Ray is remembered for his ability to identify any episode of "Star Trek", "I Love Lucy", or "The Honeymooners" within 4 seconds. He is survived by his children, Marty and Jane -- or June -- or something. Final disposition will be at Maryknoll Cemetery where although no such stipulations were made in his will, his beloved television will be buried with him.
Two weeks before her mandatory retirement, Carlotta Mendez died in a freak electrical accident while clearing a paper jam from the copy machine at Filson Co. where she had worked for 54 years.
